The project officially began with receipt of our NSF 2010 grant on 1 December 2005, and several hundred homozygous knock-out lines for our target genes have become available from Joe Ecker's group at the Salk Institute, along with other homozygous lines from ABRC as well as from Jane Glazebrook and Fumi Katagiri. Our assays are well established and we are growing up all new homozygous lines as soon as they become available from the ABRC. Work on the database is focused on data analysis tools, with a goal to begin making data public by late in 2007. |
